We acknowledge a complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month of receiving it. Every complaint gets a reference number so that you can follow it up. Complaints about content have shorter times, set out below.
If you are a consumer and are not satisfied with our answer, you can also contact the National Consumer Helpline (dial 1915, or consumerhelpline.gov.in).
Complaints about content
You can complain about content made or stored with HyperReel, for example a video that shows you without your consent, uses your work without permission or breaks the law. You can also complain on behalf of another person. Write to the grievance officer at grievance@hyperreel.ai with the subject “Content complaint” and tell us where the content is (a link or a description), what is wrong with it and how we can reach you. Complaints about content are handled every day, also outside the customer care hours.
- We acknowledge a complaint about content within 24 hours and resolve it within 7 days of receiving it.
- A request to remove content on any of the grounds listed in rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, for example content that is obscene, pornographic, harmful to a child, invasive of someone’s privacy, insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, promoting enmity between groups, misleading, impersonating another person, threatening the security of India or public order, or that contains malicious code, is resolved within 36 hours of the request. Requests that only claim that content belongs to someone else, infringes an intellectual property right or breaks another law follow the 7 days above.
- If content shows a person’s private area, shows them fully or partly naked or in a sexual act, or impersonates them, including artificially morphed images, we take all reasonable and practicable steps to remove it or block access to it within 2 hours of receiving the complaint. The person concerned or someone acting for them can make this complaint.
If you disagree with the grievance officer’s decision, or your complaint is not resolved within these times, you can appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee of the Government of India within 30 days of receiving the grievance officer’s answer. Appeals are filed online at gac.gov.in.
What we sell
HyperReel is a digital service. You describe a product, choose an AI presenter and receive a finished video ad as a file to download. Nothing is shipped physically. Prices, the contents of every plan and the number of credits are shown on the plans page and again at checkout before you pay.
AI-generated content
Every video made with HyperReel is generated by artificial intelligence. The presenters are fictional and do not depict real people. Every image, video and voice-over we deliver carries a machine-readable mark that identifies it as AI-generated. Drawn title and end cards are marked as machine-drawn.
Platform and brand
The HyperReel platform and the HyperReel brand are owned by HyperReel UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Germany, and are licensed to Empor Rocket Private Limited, which offers the service to customers in India.
